What it does

Everything the building has to keep, in one place, kept up to date.

Martyn’s Law procedures, fire safety checks, gas and electrical certificates, insurance, who has read what. One list of what is in place and what is not, one thing to do next, and a record you can show anyone who asks.

Opening to the first venues soon. The free guides and tools are open now.

Checks

Every check has a how-often, a who, and a last-done date.

The weekly alarm test, the monthly lights, the annual gas and extinguisher services. Open one and you see what it is, how to do it and why it matters, then record it or put someone down for it.

  • A reminder before each is due, to the person who does it
  • Recorded from a phone in under a minute
  • A second person approves it, so one person is never the only word

Martyn’s Law

Four procedures, drafted from your answers and nothing else.

Photograph the fire notice on your wall, answer a few questions about doors, rooms and keys, and the evacuation, invacuation, lockdown and communication procedures are written for your building.

  • Every step shows the answer it came from
  • Change any wording that isn’t how you’d say it
  • Nothing is marked current until a named person confirms it

Your people

Everyone reads it on their phone. No accounts, no passwords.

Trustees, staff, volunteers and regular hirers each get a link. They read the procedure and press one button. You see who has read it and who hasn’t, and chase the rest with one click.

  • Works on any phone, in under a minute
  • When a procedure changes, everyone who read the old version is asked to read the new one
  • New people get the link the day they join

Paperwork

Drop in a certificate. It’s filed, and the next date is set.

The gas certificate, the electrical report, the insurance schedule, the PAT list. Drag each one in, it reads what it is and the date on it, and you press one button.

  • The renewal date comes from the certificate, not from memory
  • A month’s notice before anything expires
  • Every version kept; nothing is ever overwritten

When someone asks

Send the fire officer a link instead of a folder.

A read-only page of what is on file and what has been done, with dates and names, live. It expires when you say and you can withdraw it any time. Or generate the evidence pack: one PDF of everything, for an insurer, a licensing officer or your own committee.

  • No account needed at their end
  • Shows names of who confirmed each record, never contact details
  • Says plainly that it is a record, not a certificate

What happens next

It tells you what it’s going to do, and when.

Every date, every renewal, every change in the rules, laid out as what we’ll do and when. A Monday email only if there’s something in it. Anything overdue goes amber and doesn’t go quiet.

  • If Martyn’s Law guidance changes, you’re told what it touches in your procedures
  • Reminders go to the people you’ve named, nowhere else
  • Download everything, any time; it’s still yours if you leave

How it’s built

Four things it will never do.

They are built into the record itself, not just the screens, so they hold for every venue and every version.

Several buildings

Every site in one view, each with its own named person.

For a parish council, a diocese, a charity or a multi-site operator: which buildings are current, which are behind, and who is responsible for each. Each site keeps its own record; you see them all at once.

A photo of each fire notice

The evacuation notice on each wall. Most of the evacuation procedure is already on it.

A named person per site

The one who confirms records and gets the reminders. You can be it for all of them, or hand each one over.

About ten minutes a site

For the questions. Reading then runs on its own as people confirm.

Early access

Opening to the first venues soon.

The record system is in its final stretch. Leave your email and you'll be first in when it opens, with the setup done with you rather than left to you. Responsible for several buildings? Reply to the welcome email and we'll set up the portfolio view together.

We'll also send the monthly regulation update, and email when the Martyn's Law date is confirmed. Unsubscribe in one click. We do not pass your address to anyone.
